Indianapolis Getting New Sports Talk Radio Show

After launching on WGNC in North Carolina in May of this year, Thru the Wire Sports Radio, was quickly picked up in Indianapolis. The show will run at 10 am on CBS 1430 am.

Thru the Wire or TTW was put together by entertainment publicist and A&R, Michael Bentley.

TTW is hosted by the comical and controversial, Catfish Hughes. It is co-hosted by Cookie Barber and Jimmy Doundas. Jimmy and Hughes debuting topics has been something to watch as the two are leagues apart. Jimmy is a stats driven serious mind while Hughes is quick to point out that “I just don’t read stats.”

In the shows first four episodes, the man who calls himself, Catfish, has already stirred the controversy pot quite a few times. He went after NBA Clippers guard, Chris Paul, by stating that he was “not a winner,” and that he feels former NBA Center, Alonzo Mourning, shouldn’t be heading to the Hall of Fame this year. Hughes also called out Carolina Panther Greg Hardy after he assaulted his girlfriend. Hughes told Mr Hardy to come on the show to tell the community that he had made a mistake and what he was going to do for the community of Charlotte to make up for being a bad role model to the children.
